When Will Semi Final Fixtures Be Confirmed?

The AFL Semi Finals (Week 2 of the Finals Series) will be scheduled by the AFL following the conclusion of Week 1. The two matches are contested between:

• The losers of the Qualifying Finals (1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd)
• The winners of the Elimination Finals (5th vs 8th and 6th vs 7th)

Each Semi Final is hosted by the higher-ranked team from the home-and-away season. If that club has the MCG as its designated home ground, the match will be held at the MCG.

Possible Match Dates:

• Friday 12th September 2025
• Saturday 13th September 2025

These match-ups and venues are subject to AFL scheduling and will be confirmed after the completion of Week 1.
