Essendon vs Adelaide Crows – Round 10 AFL 2027
Book your MCG Corporate Box or premium AFL hospitality package for Essendon vs Adelaide Crows on Sunday 23 May 2027 at 3:15pm (AEST). Dynamic Sports Marketing offers private corporate suites and premium dining experiences for this Round 10 clash at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The Bombers welcome the Crows back to the MCG with unfinished business after Adelaide’s convincing victories in their previous two encounters. For Essendon, the fixture represents an opportunity to reverse those results in front of its home supporters.
With Adelaide’s attacking talent and Essendon’s determination to respond, this Sunday afternoon contest provides an appealing setting for corporate entertaining, staff rewards or a premium afternoon at the football.
Bombers Seek Redemption Against High-Scoring Crows
Essendon and Adelaide have produced several memorable contests in recent seasons, although the Crows have enjoyed the upper hand. In Round 2 of 2025, Adelaide delivered a powerful attacking performance at the MCG, defeating Essendon 25.11 (161) to 15.10 (100) by 61 points. The clubs met again in Round 21 of 2026, this time at Marvel Stadium, where Adelaide produced another commanding victory. The Crows won 23.7 (145) to 11.7 (73) by 72 points, with key forward Riley Thilthorpe kicking five goals and taking 10 marks.
Izak Rankine contributed three goals and 23 disposals, while captain Jordan Dawson was influential with 30 disposals and nine clearances. Despite the result, Essendon forward Peter Wright delivered an impressive individual performance, kicking six goals.
Adelaide’s victory helped the Crows move into the AFL’s top four, while Essendon was left searching for answers after another difficult afternoon. The contrast with their dramatic 2024 meeting is striking. On that occasion, Adelaide edged Essendon by just two points in a thrilling contest at Marvel Stadium.
For the Bombers, the 2027 matchup is a chance to demonstrate their improvement against a side that has caused them significant problems. The Crows will be looking to maintain their recent dominance and secure another important away victory.
